Six CNG stations sealed in Abbottabad

AC inspected the markets regarding price control and registered an FIR against five shopkeepers for fleecing customers

ISLAMABAD:

Abbottabad Assistant Commissioner (AC) Saqlain Saleem during an inspection visit sealed 6 CNG stations for violating the load-shedding schedule.

According to a statement, the district administration has made a load-shedding schedule for CNG stations from 6:00 am to 9:00 am in the morning and 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the evening to ensure gas supply to domestic consumers.

Earlier, the AC inspected the markets regarding price control and registered an FIR against five shopkeepers for fleecing customers, the statement read. He imposed fines on shopkeepers for poor hygiene at vegetable, fruit and grocery shops, it stated.

AC Saqlain visited the city markets including Main Bazaar, Gurdwara Street, Kachehri Road, Tanchi Chowk and other markets, the statement read. Meanwhile, Abbottabad Deputy Commissioner Tariq Salam Murwat reviewed the Winter Contingency Plan during a visit to the control room in Galiyat. A statement stated that he inspected available facilities for tourists.
