Shoaib Malik pens heartfelt wish for Sania Mirza

Previously, gossip surrounding the celebrity couple parting ways made waves on social media

Recently, Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik and his wife, Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza have been in the media's limelight due to rumours about their divorce.

The popular duo tied the knot in 2010 and have a four-year-old son. The hearsay implied that the couple have parted ways after nine years of marriage and are sharing custody of their only child.

After Sania shared a cryptic Instagram Story, many publications speculated that her relationship with Shoaib is at a rocky edge. Rumours started spreading when the aforementioned story went viral and fans noticed the athlete does not share pictures of her husband anymore.

Now, Shoaib has put an end to these rumours by wishing his wife a happy birthday on his social media. Taking to Twitter, the cricketer posted a joyous shot of the couple.

In the picture, Sania and Shoaib are hugging each other and smiling. The post was also captioned with a light-hearted message for his wife, wishing her the best on the happy occasion.

He said, "Happy Birthday to you, Sania. Wishing you a very healthy and happy life! Enjoy the day to the fullest."

Prior to this, amid divorce rumours, the streaming platform Urduflix also released the first look at the pair's upcoming show. On Instagram, they shared a picture of The Mirza Malik Show and stated that it will be "coming soon" on their website.
