Stolen goods worth Rs30 million recovered

District police launched a grand operation against criminal elements during which 28 alleged criminals, including seven members of two interprovincial gangs, were arrested.

Stolen goods worth over Rs30 million were recovered from the alleged criminal's possession.

Gold ornaments, cash, motorcycle, solar plates, drugs and illegal weapons were seized during the operation.

The recently appointed DPO, Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Ajmal, took immediate notice on public complaints regarding incidents of theft and other crimes and formed a special team under the leadership of the DSP of Saddar Circle. He was given the special task of cracking down on the criminal elements.

The DPO of Bhakkar told The Express Tribune that the arrest of the interprovincial gang would bring an end to the incidents of crime in Saddar Circle.

Earlier, the DPO of Bhakkar, Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Ajmal, held a press conference at the City Police Station.

While talking to the media representatives, the DPO said that after assuming charge, the problems and challenges faced by the people of Bhakkar regarding policing were reviewed from every aspect.

After which a grand operation was launched against the criminal elements to address the public complaints.
