PESSI gets new medical equipment

Commissioner PESSI visited various sections of the hospital and checked conditions

Punjab Employees Social Security Institute (PESSI) Commissioner Ambreen Sajid inaugurated 15 dialysis machines, a state-of-the-art X-ray unit and a PCR machine at Social Security Hospital in Madina Town on Tuesday.

She visited various sections of the hospital and checked the attendance of doctors and paramedics, overall cleanliness, the availability of medicines and the condition of various machines. She also inspected the quality of food being served to patients and directed Medical Superintendent Dr Ejaz Mumtaz Sheikh to improve the performance of hospital staff. She also planted a sapling in the hospital and interacted with patients and their attendants.

Later, Commissioner PESSI visited Social Security (MNCH) Hospital Faisalabad and reprimanded the medical superintendent over poor administrative arrangements.
