District and Sessions Judge Quetta, Muhammad Dawood Khan Nasar, sentenced an accused Muhammad Ali to life imprisonment after he was found guilty of raping and killing an eight-yearold minor boy.
The court also fined the accused Rs5 lakh.
The accused had raped and brutally murdered an eight-year-old minor boy Siddiquillah in Quetta’s Airport Road area a year ago.
The judge announced the judement on Wednesday.
The father of the victim Siddiqullah had lodged an FIR with police, stating that the accused Muhammad Ali took his child with him from the Airport Road in his car and then he strangled the child to death after sexually assaulting him.
Police arrested the accused after registering the FIR.
The judgment of the case was reserved by court after the completion of trial by lawyers.
The same accused is also sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs1 lakh for raping the child, while six months of imprisonment and a fine for using an unregistered vehicle.
