COAS visits Army Strategic Forces Command headquarters

Army chief interacts with officers, troops; appreciates their professionalism and high state of morale

ISLAMABAD:

Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday visited the headquarters of the Army Strategic Forces Command (ASFC), said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a press release.

According to the military’s media wing, during the visit, the COAS interacted with officers and troops and also appreciated their professionalism and high state of morale.

Earlier on his arrival, the army chief was received by Commander Army Strategic Forces Command Lieutenant General Muhammad Ali, Commander Army Strategic Forces Command, the ISPR said.

A day earlier, the army chief emphasised the importance of air defence in modern warfare and the need for continuous training and up-gradation of modern air defence weapon systems in view of the evolving threats.

He said this while visiting the headquarters of Army Air Defence Command on November 1, the military’s media wing, the inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said in a statement.

The army chief paid rich tribute to the supreme sacrifices of officers and men of Pakistan Army Air Defence and appreciated the training standards achieved.

test | 2 years ago | Reply The corner stone of a foreign policy is technology transfer industrial manufacturing investment and bilateral trade as well as defence ties in regards to strategic policy of a country but since strategic partnerships are defined as a combination of both economic and defence cooperation so we should not consider economic relations as strategic relations and defence relations as strategic relations. Often policy makers mix things which is a very bad practice in foreign policy of a country. There can be strategic partners in different regions with economic and defence interests not just economic interests or defence interests alone.
