Model-Actor Saheefa Jabbar Khattak while undergoing a tattoo removal suggested tips on how to safely go about the process and how mindful one should be when deciding to ink something on their body. However, her transparency backfired as social media instantly jumped to conclusions and thought this was her way of announcing her divorce from husband.

Dismissing rumours regarding her separation or divorce, the Teri Meri Kahani actor took to her Instagram to share that her marriage is very much intact and the couple is in a long-distance relationship until travel logistics are sorted out.

Saheefa posted her tattoo removal process in videos and pictures in a series of Instagram Stories. One of those pictures showed that she got her husband Khawaja Khizer’s name removed. Looking at that, an “overwhelming” number of fans flocked to her DMs to ask why she would go through the painful process and if everything is alright between the couple.

“This isn’t the first time I have posted my tattoo removal videos on my stories. I have been posting on and off for about two years now but this time, so many people came forward with their overwhelming concerns and questions to which I felt I should address them,” read one of her stories on the photo-sharing app.

In another story, she shared that the two most common questions asked were about why she was removing a tattoo in the first place and even if she is, is it the one with Khawaja’s face.

Clarifying both questions, she wrote, "Alhamdulliah things are greater than ever, it’s just that we choose to keep our relationship very private. He has gone to Canada for his studies and I am in Pakistan waiting for my visa to come. Long distance isn’t bothering us much since so many of you asked that as well. We have always been pretty mature with our relationship, our collective goals are so big that we don’t mind the long distance. Yes, we have our lows but he has found some great classmates who help him with his anxiety, and in Pakistan, I have kept myself busy with work so we are doing pretty fine. I wish him nothing but success and health. (Not getting his tattoo removed).”

She further added that the tattoo she got removed was an old one that was fading and she didn’t want it on her body anymore. In cryptic ways, she asked her followers to understand that sometimes “letting go” and “forgiving” are the only pathways to “healing” and that’s what she’s choosing to do.
