Shoot and injure three citizen on resistance

KARACHI:

Three citizens were injured in separate firing incidents reported in the city on Tuesday.

According to details, a youth, identified as Shahab Uddin, 18, was injured during a robbery bid near Machar Colony on Tuesday. The injured was rushed to Civil Hospital.

Police said that unidentified suspects shot and injured the victim over his resistance and fled from the scene.

 Further investigation into the matter was underway.

Separately, a man, identified as 35-year-old Muhammad Salman, was shot and injured during a robbery bid in Pak Colony.

 The victim was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital while the police were investigating further in this regard. Meanwhile, 20-year-old Syed Danish Shah, was injured in a firing incident within the limits of Korangi Industrial Area police station.

 Danish was immediately shifted to Jinnah Hospital.

 According to the police, the incident appeared to be a result of personal enmity.

 The suspects managed to escape from the scene. Further investigation into the matter was underway.
