ISLAMABAD:

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is working to simplify the tax system and minimise direct interaction with tax collectors in order to facilitate the taxpayers. “Tax collectors and taxpayers are working to improve Pakistan’s economy, which requires developed relationship and confidence to further enhance tax revenue,” said Regional Tax Office (Islamabad) Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue Ayesha Khalid. Speaking to the business community at Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) on Friday, Khalid said that RTO had set up a grievances cell to address the complaints of taxpayers.
