Google app helps to easily customise search widget on Android

In 2018, Google launched a customisable search widget, to which it is now adding personalised features to be manually placed on the home screen.

While trying to move an existing widget, users will see a pencil icon that suggests edit options, from which they can choose between the bar logo, bar shape, bar colour, and bar shading.

The new widget can easily be saved and used from the home screen.

Previously customisable Google search widgets were only possible through Google app settings. The new change, however, is available to Android 12+ version 13.40, reported Engadget.
