Police arrested a man for allegedly stabbing his wife to death in Barbat area of Oghi police station on Friday.
The police said that the couple had an argument after which the suspect named Shahzad stabbed her to death. They added that he committed this crime in front of his young children and he left with them on April 10 this year.
DPO Mansehra Irfan Tariq visited the Oghi police station and met the victim’s relatives.
He ensured that the accused received an exemplary punishment. Tariq ordered DSP Circle Oghi and SHO police station Oghi to arrest the killer as soon as the incident was reported.
The police then formed two teams and arrested the accused with the murder weapon. They are
looking into the case.
Meanwhile, Abbottabad Deputy Commissioner Tariq Salam Marwat on Friday presided over the review meeting at the end of the fourth day of the typhoid vaccination campaign.
