Usman Farooq Advocate took the stand that Indus Hospital has proposed to the KMC that a hospital and a college be built on the said land.

The land belonging to three schools has been occupied by encroachers. A two-judge bench ordered an injunction, but the occupying mafia constructed walls and began the construction.

NAB inquiry against Sharjeel

The Sindh High Court has sought a report from authorities on a plea related to NAB’s secret inquiries against PPP leader Sharjeel Memon. A two-member bench headed by Justice Junaid Ghaffar heard the petition. NAB could not submit the complete report of inquiries against Sharjeel Memon.

Prosecutor NAB stated that reports have been received from Sukkur and Rawalpindi, but no report has been received from Islamabad. There is no case or inquiry against Sharjeel Memon in Sukkur. Sharjeel Memon’s lawyer Raj Ali Wahid Advocate stated that even after so much time, NAB has not submitted the report. Sharjeel Memon is being harassed.

Justice Junaid Ghaffar remarked that now the law has changed, why are they feeling fear or pressure now? The court remarked that if there is any inquiry and investigation, a notice will be sent. Sharjeel Memon is not afraid of arrest like before. The court sought a report from NAB on November 4.

Raj Ali Wahid Advocate had taken the stand that NAB is not making any reference, they just want to show an inquiry and arrest Sharjeel.
