Pretty pictures, nothing else: Vaneeza Ahmed is disappointed by Ayeza Khan’s Instagram

Model isn’t a fan of flaunting lavish lifestyles, and can’t see what celebrities get from posting the same.

Model and actor Vaneeza Ahmed along with actor Adeel Hussain recently made an appearance on Naumaan Ijaz’s talk show G Sarkar. While these two keep contributing to the industry in their own ways, they barely have an active social media appearance and they have objections for the celebrities that aren’t mindful of theirs.

While speaking about social media presence, Vaneeza said, “Do you think we're the kind of people who'd take selfies all the time? I think it's a hassle to document what you're eating, what you're drinking, and what you're doing. Yesterday only I saw this actor having 12 million followers, I can't recall the name right now.” the host Ijaz chimed in and told her it was Ayeza Khan.

Curious, the Ehd-e-Wafa actor said, “I went to her profile to see what big achievements she has to have that kind of a following." However, what Vaneeza saw on Ayeza's profile disappointed her. "Just pictures of that woman, nothing else. Where is your contribution, that’s what matters. So, what if you have 12 million followers?”

While Adeel added that while he can’t maintain the popular everyday posting habit, he understands that people have their own ways of expressing themselves on the medium, especially Instagram. To which, Vaneeza clarified that she’s also against people who flaunt their extravagant lifestyles on the photo-sharing app in general. “I also don’t understand the point of posting pictures of first-class flights, fancy cars and lavish vacations by people in general,” she said.

When questioned about the number of followers she has, Vaneeza clarified that she doesn’t even remember the number. Her Instagram is handled by her niece and the very seldom times, she takes control, she ends up sharing a quote or verse she likes to share with her audience.
