SHC orders action against illegal construction

KARACHI:

Sindh High Court (SHC) ordered the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) to take action against the illegal constructions regarding the petition pertaining to the construction of portions in Firdous Colony and submit a report.

According to details, a petition was heard in the High Court.

The petitioner’s counsel said that illegal constructions were taking place in Firdous Colony and the court should order an action against illegal constructions.

He argued that the fourth storey of Firdous Terrace was ruled illegal by the SBCA.

The court remarked that illegal constructions have to be handled legally and ordered the DG SBCA to submit a report into the matter within 45 days.
