Water shortage: Supply from two canals stopped

MIRPURKHAS: The water supply to the Mirpurkhas town municipality administration (TMA) ponds was stopped by the irrigation department after torrential rains last week.

The supply was stopped from East Jumrao and West Jumrao canals, the only source of drinking water for the taluka. There is a shortage of water in the area because the water stored in the TMA ponds is almost finished.
