KARACHI:

The first flight carrying flood relief aid from Russian landed at Karachi's Jinnah International Airport on Wednesday.

The relief goods include food items, tents and water cleaning devices.

The consignment was received by Russian Consul General Fedorov Andrey, Advisor to Chief Minister on Relief and Rehabilitation Rasool Bux Chandio and representatives of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) earlier announced a “significant” relief and rehabilitation package for flood-hit Pakistan, designed to “support people, livelihoods, and infrastructure immediately, and in the long-term”.

Also if Russia really wants to help Pakistan then it must build Pakistan s economy by shifting their industries to Pakistan through technology transfer fighter jets nuclear submarines satellite technology sohphisticated missile technology nuclear reactors vehicle manufacturing and other heavy industry NSG membership skill sharing investment trade. In short Russia must setup its industries in Pakistan so that Pakistan can tackle high unemployment along with very high inflation and forex which are build on bailouts and loans as no leader in Pakistan was serious about building the industry from the core. Our politician s priorities and world priorities are same but mine are totally different from both of them. And i have been saying it from the past 5-6 years and that is setup of foregin industry in Pakistan and kicking assembly plants out of our country that are run by matric pass landlords with the support of politicians and they get commission after giving subsidies. Overall i am totally done with this system and the false promises our parties made and all of them make false promises and for sure all parties are corrupt. When people will recognize that it will
