KARACHI:

The Sindh Health Department has issued orders to terminate the services of thirty eight doctors and three nurses in Sindh for being absent from duty.

This order was issued after several warnings were issued to these doctors.

Due to the absence of these health department employees, the policy of taking strict action has been adopted by the Sindh chief minister and health minister.

The health department is also issuing final notices to other doctors, working  in different hospitals across the province and are absent from their duty to report for duty or they will be dismissed.

Sindh Helath Minister, Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho said, "We are facing humanitarian crisis and medical professionals need to understand that we need to be on the ground to help people. This is not the time to lose their jobs."
