Rescue 1122 gets two new ambulances

All facilities including well-trained staff have also been provided

HASSANABDAL:

The Punjab government gifted two ambulances worth more than Rs10 million to Rescue 1122 Hasanabdal on Tuesday.

MNA Major Tahir Sadiq was invited as the chief guest of the event while Regional Officer Rescue 1122 Dr Abdul Rehman, Assistant Commissioner Arif Ali Qureshi, District Emergency Officer Attak Ali Hussain, local officers, and PTI leaders were also present.

Sadiq said that the present provincial government does not make verbal claims, serving people and resolving their problems is their top priority. He added that Rescue 1122 was a gift of Chaudhry Parvez Elahi to the people of Punjab. Its building in Hasanabdal was constructed and inaugurated in a previous era however, today, it has been made fully functional.

He said that the Punjab government has provided 2 ambulances worth Rs13 million for the residents of Hasanabdal.

All facilities including well-trained staff have also been provided.

Speaking at the event, Regional Officer Rescue 1122 Dr Abdul Rahman said that the rescue workers are always ready to serve and save human lives.
