Two die after jumping from third floor to avoid arrest

KARACHI:

Two persons died after jumping off a building during a raid by Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Abdul Hassan Isphani Road.

According to SHO Sachal Mazhar Iqbal, the ANF team raided a residential building located in Abdul Hassan Isphani Road when two persons present there jumped from the third floor of the building out of fear of getting arrested. Consequently, a man, identified as Zaigham, died on the spot, while 26-year-old Asad Ali was seriously injured but succumbed to his injuries late on Thursday night.

However, the police are further investigating the incident. No case has been registered in this regard.
