JHELUM:

The bodies of two teenage brothers, who had gone missing four days ago, were found near River Jhelum.

Police said that 12-year-old Ahmed Ali and 10-year-old Nalain Abbas, residents of Mohalla Sulaiman Pars, left home on a motorcycle on Friday and when they did not return, the family started searching for them. When the family failed to find them, they approached the police. The police registered a case and started looking for the boys.

On Tuesday, Rescue 1122 officials found two bodies near the river Jhelum. The family refused to identify the bodies after which the bodies were shifted to a mortuary. A day later, when the swelling of the corpses subsided, the families were called again and they recognised their children. The bodies were handed over to the family.

Police said that the boys were killed and stripped naked before being thrown into the river. They added that since the boys were naked and their bodies had swelling, the family had failed to recognize them.

The father of the boys told the police that he didn’t have enmity with anyone. Police are looking into the case. Police are looking into the case from all aspects.
