PESHAWAR:

Schools and colleges in flood-affected areas of Nowshera opened on Monday after being cleaned by students and teachers on their own, following which educational activities resumed immediately.

Instead of relying on government agencies, the students and teachers started the cleaning process on their own. They hoped that they would not have to face such a situation again.

Due to floods in Nowshera, schools and colleges were inundated along with houses and markets in all surrounding areas. The water thus brought educational activities to a halt for a week.
