Fans caught a glimpse of Lara Dutta’s no makeup look after the actor posted pictures on Instagram. The actor shared that one should stay true to themselves in a world driven by social media. The post flaunted two photographs, one with Dutta fresh-faced and makeup free, while the second showed the actor dolled up for a night out.
The Miss Universe 2000 winner wrote, “Keeping it real! This was me at 7pm tonight, right after a killer workout that wiped me out! The next image is me two hours later, ready to head out to celebrate my fraternity!”
The Housefull actor added, “What’s the point? Just that it’s important to know that none of us wakes up looking the way we do in the numerous glam photos you see of us! It takes a small village to get us there! In my case, hairdresser extraordinaire Clarabelle Saldanha, my trusty makeup pouch, and a favourite, jewelled tone colour!”
Dutta concluded with a message for followers and said, “No matter how your days have been, it’s important to get dressed and show up for yourself!”
Dutta’s post received a lot of praise for her honest portrayal of being an online figure. One social media user wrote, “In the era of social media, the new generation needs to see that being one's self is more important than layers of makeup.
