Human Trafficking: FIA operation in district continues

SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is launching a vigorous operation to deal with rising incidents of human trafficking in the district. FIA officials have said that various teams have been deployed in the district to identify and arrest human traffickers, their agents and sub agents operating in the area. FIA Gujranwala deputy director Gul Sanobar Khan told reporters that the agency had already arrested several notorious proclaimed offenders (POs). “These men were wanted by the FIA for multiple counts of human trafficking and they were already listed in the red book for extorting large sums of money from innocent people,” he said.
