THEKRI WALA:

A rickshaw driver was burnt to death after he allegedly hurled a bottle of petrol at an LPG cylinder refilling shop at Adam Chowk, Ghulam Mohammadabad.

Jabbar had gone to the shop to have his rickshaw cylinder filled with LPG.

Shahid, 45, the owner of the shop informed him that the price of the LPG had increased and he had to pay an extra Rs20.

This led to a heated argument between Jabbar and Shahid, and Jabbar ignited the petrol bottle and hurled it at the shop.

Both Jabbar and Shahid sustained burn injuries.

The rescue teams shifted them to the General Hospital in Ghulam Muhammadabad where Jabbar died.

Ghulam Muhammadabad police reached the spot and took possession of the body and handed it over to the heirs after completing legal formalities. They also launched an investigation.
