MADRID: Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho is not sorry for poking a rival in the eye in the final moments of their Spanish Super Cup loss to Barcelona. Television images showed the Portuguese jabbing his finger into the eye of Barcelona assistant coach Tito Vilanova as players brawled on the field. “Jose isn’t saying sorry, he’s very clear that he’s defending Real Madrid,” said Mourinho’s spokesperson Eladio Parames. “He doesn’t care what the press says, the important thing is what the Madrid fans think.” Parames said that Mourinho was responding to insults from the Barcelona bench.
