Starting from the silver screen to winning hearts on the big screen, Sajal Aly and Bilal Abbas’ on-screen couple has always been a fan favourite. Now, to everyone’s surprise, the reel life duo is coming back onscreens once again! Following O Rangeza and Khel Khel Mein, news has come that the pair will now be reuniting for a Nadeem Baig directorial titled Kashaf.
A source confirmed the same to The Express Tribune. The project is reported to be produced under Humayun Saaed. Written by veteran actor cum writer Mohammed Ahmed, all we know about Kashaf so far is that it follows a “unique storyline” that will have an emotional impact on the viewers. Makers have, otherwise, kept all other details under wraps.
Earlier while promoting Khel Khel Mein, Aly and Khan spoke about the experience of working together with a local publication. The Mom star had previously said, “He’s a great actor and I’ve always been a fan of his work. He’s very supportive. Sometimes you’re just down on the set but he’s the kind who is very understanding and tells you to relax, assuring that together they will manage to do it all.” She also added that since they are already good friends, she has always been very comfortable working with him.
Likewise for Khan, working together has always been a “fun time” for him. Although, the Dobara actor did confess that not feeling a romantic project with her. “I think I can never do a romantic role or project with Sajal. And if I do, it will be very difficult.”
Why? He exclaimed, “She’s always laughing but it’s always fun working with her. She has a fun vibe.”
Kashaf will mark Aly’s second collaboration with the Jawaani Phir Nahi Aani director, with their first one being the mega-hit drama serial Sinf-e-Aahan, where she essayed the role of lady cadet Rabia Safeer. Aly and Khan were last seen together in the 2021 historical flick Khel Khel Mein helmed by Nabeel Qureshi and produced by Fizza Ali Meerza.
