Man killed in Quetta grenade blast

QUETTA:

At least one person was killed while 14 other sustained injuries, when unknown miscreants threw a hand grenade at a roadside stall, selling national flags and buntings in connection with the Independence Day celebrations, on Thursday night.

The police confirmed that it was a grenade attack on the Joint Road of the provincial capital. They added that one person died on the spot, while 14 injured were taken to various hospitals.

Waseem Baig, the spokesperson of the hospital, confirmed that 8 injured were brought to the hospital. Doctors have said that all the injured were in stable condition and out of danger.
