A child, identified as four-year-old Mujeeb Rehman, was killed after he was hit by a speeding water tanker within the limits of Baldia Ittehad Town Police Station.
The body was handed over to the family after the medical formalities.
The driver managed to escape from the scene while his tanker was taken into police custody.
