KARACHI:

A man died due to electrocution on the second floor of a residential building in front of Police Hospital at Jubilee Chowrangi in Garden within the limits of Nabi Bakhsh police station. His body was shifted to Dr Ruth KM Pfau Civil Hospital for post-mortem.

The deceased was identified as 48-year-old Nadeem, son of Anas. The deceased used to work as a denter in Bohra Pir.

In this regard, the deceased's brother Kamran alleged that the incident happened due to the negligence of K-Electric. He added that electricity cables entering the building from outside the residential building spread the electric current in the gallery.

As soon as his brother went to open the gallery during the rain, he was electrocuted. After the incident, the K-Electric crew reached the spot and went back after cutting the cables.
