Reena Verma, who is visiting her ancestral home in Pakistan after 75 years of living in India, recently went to the famous hill station of Murree on Saturday.
She shared that she used to visit Murree every summer back in her childhood days and even remembered the famous Mall Road.
Members of the Murree Hotel Owners Association warmly welcomed the veteran Indian woman by showering rose petals on her and those along with her. During her stroll on Mall Road, Reena Verma conversed with the tourists who also clicked selfies with her. She sat at a Mall road cafe for a bit and later on visited the GPO Chowk as well.
Speaking on the occasion, she stated that Murree is a very beautiful place and everyone should come and visit it. She further said that for years, she wished and dreamt of going back to her ancestral house and reliving her childhood memories. However, it took her 75 years to cross over into Pakistan as she faced difficulty getting a visa.
