SC fixes PTI’s plea on NAB laws for hearing

Another bench will hear Vawda's appeal against the ECP decision

ISLAMABAD:

A three-member bench of the Supreme Court will hear Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s petition against the recent amendments to the accountability laws on Tuesday, July 19.

Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial has also fixed PTI leader Faisal Vawda’s appeal against his disqualification, and the appeals of the dissident PTI lawmakers against their unseating by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on the same date.

Another bench, comprising Chief Justice Bandial and Justice Mansoor Ali Shah will hear Vawda's appeal against the ECP decision, while a three-member bench headed by Justice Ijazul Ahsan, will hear the appeals of dissident PTI members against the ECP decision.
