JHELUM:

A physically challenged teenager was allegedly raped in the Jalalpur Sharif area of Jhelum.

Muhammad Jaffar, a resident of Jalalpur Sharif, in his application told the police that his 14-year-old son went to the grocery shop in the neighbourhood but did not return for a long time and he started looking for his son.

He said that when he inquired about his son from the people on Bohar Wagh Road, they told him that his son was seen with Khurram Shahzad, Mohammad Asad, Muhammad Zahid and Muhammad Arif Hassan. After which he along with Mohammad Hamza, Mohammad Ishaq and other neighbours went to the mansion of Khurram Shehzad.

He said that when they reached the mansion, they saw Khurram Shehzad, Mohammad Arif Hassan and others sitting on the wall of the mansion. When he inquired about his son, they expressed ignorance. However, he looked out for his son inside the mansion and saw his son locked in a room.

The complainant said that they found his son's trousers (shalwar) and Mohammad Zahid was also present in the room, while Mohammad Zahid, Khurram Shehzad, Mohammad Asad and Hassan who were present on the spot ran away. The complainant went on to say that his son told him that the four men had brought him to the mansion along with them. The boy told his father that Muhammad Zahid raped him. A case has been registered against the alleged rapist and others.
