BEIJING:

Pakistan’s rice export to China crossed $277.56 million in the first five months of FY22, up 9.73% year on year.

Pakistan remained one of the major broken rice suppliers to China, according to the official data from the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China (GACC).

Pakistan Embassy in Beijing Commercial Counsellor Badaruz Zaman said that currently broken rice, especially Irri-6, Irri-9 and semi or wholly milled rice are the main varieties exported to China, while traders still need to work hard to capture the Chinese market for Basmati and other top varieties.

“Last year, China imported 973,000 tons of rice worth $437 million from Pakistan. Seven new rice exporters of Pakistan have been added to the approved list, which has risen to 53,” he said.

“China relaxed import restrictions on Pakistani rice, which helped increase export to China.”

He believes that within a few years Pakistan will become the largest rice exporter to China.

test | 2 years ago | Reply To be fair enough Pakistan can become the largest agricultural exporter of China. But for doing that we have to first remove housing socieities towns and also we have to deoccupy agricultural lands which are occupied by land mafias backed by powerful politicians and businessmen. We have to wipe out bahria defence johar gulberg and every single upper or elite class society completely from our country. And yes we have to do it by using hard force. We have to turn that land back into agriculture. Agriculture here and there and everywhere. Build dams not just a few but 100s of Dams are needed this way we will produce the cheapest electricity in South Asia which is very good both for agriculture and for manufacturing. This way if we have enough water and cheap electricity our agriculture and industrial manufacturing will lead the South Asia in terms of cost and quality competitiveness. But for now agriculture is the way forward because we are done with manufacturing as there is no manufacturing in Pakistan neither there is Boeing or Airbus or Tesla or Ford or Toyota or Huawei or Intel or Samsung doing any manufacturing if there is Samsung all it is doing here is sucking our forex with assembly plants which are backed by elites. And in these assembly plants they fix the parts that s it. And our elites who are traitors will not let the car manufacturers or any machine manufacturer to enter into our market because they recieve kickback commissions and subsidies from govt who recieve kickback and commissions from these assembly plants foreign owners just like housing socities but with local owners. It is like you don t expose our corruption and we will reward you personally and handsomely. Most of the elites have political and strong financial backgrounds and these traitors run these assembling plants as well as housing socities. These housing socities and assembling plants are the real cause of forex sucking. We import raw materials for these industries hosuing and assembling plants and even agriculture which are run by our elites and then we go to take loans. But the thing that our people our illeterate and uneducated people will never know is that there is no investment coming into these hosuing socities and industrial assembling plants. These elites will always fool our people by saying that the country is moving in the right direction but in reality they will take loans and do corruption and suck our forex and then our people will chant Pakistan Zindabad and we will become superpower congratulations good bye thanks blah blah. We have become superpower didn t you believe And yes i do hate those zionists and those far right cow suckers.
