Sacrificial goats heist video goes viral

The satisfaction of the accused in the footage shows that they had no fear of the police coming

A citizen was deprived of over Rs300,000 worth of seven sacrificial goats by thieves in the North Karachi area.

The CCTV camera footage of the incident went viral on the social media with netizens raising questions over police performance and lack of security of life and property of people in the city.

Footage of the incident, which occurred on Monday, June 27, at around 5:30am, shows two suspects getting out of a white sedan, one breaks the lock of the main gate of a house with a cutter, while the other stands guard cleaning the car.

Soon, the suspect who entered the house is seen coming out with goats, two are pushed on the rear seat and the rest are stuffed in the trunk.

The suspects then drove away fearlessly. The satisfaction of the accused in the footage shows that they had no fear of the police coming. A report regarding the theft of the sacrificial goats has been submitted to the Sir Syed Town police station.
