Dengue Action Plan reviewed

Health department in collaboration with district administrations would ensure measures to control dengue

PESHAWAR:

Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr Shahzad Bangash on Monday chaired a meeting to review the implementation progress on the Dengue Action Plan 2022.

The meeting was attended by the officials of the concerned departments. The chief secretary emphasised the need for stronger coordination and closer cooperation among the relevant authorities to ensure effective measures for dengue prevention and control.

Participants of the meeting were told that the health department in collaboration with all the district administrations would ensure timely measures to control dengue.

Dr Bangash was informed that the K-P government would ensure coordinated and effective measures for the prevention of dengue.

Meanwhile, the chief secretary also directed the local government department to improve the sanitation system to control the spread of dengue.
