Six people killed in N Waziristan firing

In the same Mir Ali tehsil two people were kidnapped whose bodies were later found on the bank of a local river

Four members of a local non-governmental organization (NGO) were killed when unidentified miscreants opened fire at their vehicle in Mir Ali, North Waziristan tribal district of K-P on Sunday.

Police told The Express Tribune that the general secretary of Youth of Waziristan Waqar Ahmad and his three friends Asadullah Dawar, Hammad and Sunid Ahmad Dawar were killed on their way back home from a dinner.

“They had supper with a friend in Haider Khel village and then were going back in their motorcar which was ambushed. All of them were rushed to the nearby hospital where they were pronounced dead on arrival,” said a police official, adding that two bike riders opened fire at them who managed to escape after committing the crime.

“Asadullah was a government servant working in health department, Waqar Ahmad Dawar was a schoolteacher at a government school, Hamad was a Rescue 1122 employee and Sunid Dawar was a student in Lahore University,” he said, adding that all of the friends had no personal feud.

In the same Mir Ali tehsil two people were kidnapped whose bodies were later found on the bank of a local river. They had received gunshots in the head. Police registered an FIR and started investigation in the case.

These mysterious murders caused widespread panic.
