RAWALPINDI:

The body of an 18-year-old boy was found under the elevator of a marriage hall within the limits of the Bani police station on Saturday.

According to the police, the deceased named Faisal worked at the wedding hall as a storekeeper and he got the job around 25 days ago. Two days before his body was found, he had gone missing.

According to initial reports, police said that the elevator was only for the use of the staff. Faisal's hands were scarred, they added.

Faisal's cousin Wajid told the police, "The marriage hall management used their influence to declare the incident an accident. On the other hand, his family is convinced that he was brutally murdered following his kidnapping and that his body was hidden under an elevator to hide the crime."

Police shifted the body to the hospital for completing medical formalities. Faisal's family asked the police to open a murder investigation.
