ISLAMABAD:

A new patient facilitation and registration centre was inaugurated at the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Hospital on Saturday.

The facilitation centre is not only equipped with modern technology, but also offers a comfortable sitting area for the patients and their family.

"CDA is striving to provide modern and better health care facilities for the residents of Islamabad and is taking various steps in this regard," said CDA Chairman CDA Amer Ali Ahmed while inaugurating the facility.

The state-of-the-art addition to the hospital infrastructure will have ticketing systems and various counters will cater to multiple patients. On the directives of the management, separate counters have been allocated for elderly and differently-abled persons.

Previously, there was no such facility available for the Outpatient Department (OPD).

A pharmacy will also be made functional at the new centre for the conveniece of patients.

It is pertinent to mention here that amenities such as new rooms and latest equipment for various tests and treatments have been added to the hospital in the last few months.
