Policemen Booked: Man injured while resisting robbery
Five masked men armed with weapons climbed the walls of Jamshaid’s house and took his family hostage at gun point.

A man received bullet injuries while resisting a robbery in Wah Cantonment area on Thursday. Five masked men armed with weapons climbed the walls of Jamshaid’s house and took his family hostage at gun point. Jamshed tried to resist the robbers on which he was fired at. The men fled the scene. Later, the police with the help of sniffer dogs traced three of the robbers and arrested them. Further investigation from them was underway.
Mohammad Hayat and his assistant Tahir Iqbal, at Saddar Police Station in Hassanabdal, were booked for negligence under section CD-155 of police order after the FIR register had gone missing. The District Police Officer Dr Akhtar Abbass ordered a probe into the incident and a case was registered.
