In view of the ongoing scorching heatwave across the country, the Pakistan Army established a heat stroke center and free medical camp at Lodhran.
In order to facilitate the local populace, these heat stroke centres are equipped with all medical facilities and well-trained doctors, including eye specialists, dermatologists, child specialists, gynecologists and other medical staff. Goodie bags are also being distributed among children.
A total 1,578 people, including 444 adults and 151 children, received treatment in male OPD, while 686 female patients and 297 children were treated in female OPD.
The General Commanding Officer also visited the camp and interacted with the military and civilian medical staff and appreciated their efforts. Locals expressed their appreciation for the efforts by the Army for establishing the free medical camp.
