CM gives credit to Ababeel Force for maintaining order

PESHAWAR:

A meeting to review the overall law and order situation in the province was held on Monday with K-P Chief Minister Mahmood Khan in the chair.

The meeting discussed future course of action in order to prevent law and order incidents in the province and several important decisions were made in this regard.

Participants were told that during the last two weeks LEAs have achieved major achievements against miscreants and the ratio of street crime has significantly decreased in the provincial capital since the Ababeel Force was established.

On the occasion, it was decided to recruit more people for the newly established Ababeel Force as well as to prepare a way forward in order to effectively stop the cultivation of drugs in certain parts of the province.

The chief minister also directed to chalk out a comprehensive plan for providing an alternate livelihood opportunity to the drug cultivators with a special focus on district Bajaur, Khyber and North Waziristan regarding the law and order situation.
