PTI submits requisition for Sindh PA session

Party members say non-functioning of the provincial assembly in the face of problems is a matter of concern

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Members of Provincial Assembly on Monday submitted a motion for holding Sindh Assembly session.

Budget session in Sindh is about to start in a few days and the representatives of Sindh want to know the details of budget, they said.

PTI Sindh Assembly Parliamentary Leader Khurram Sher Zaman, MPAs Dr Seema Zia, Imran Ali Shah, Raja Azhar, Shehzad Qureshi, Jamal Siddiqui, Rabistan Khan and others submitted the petition to the secretary of the provincial house.

According to the text of the petition, PTI members said that they have been submitting requests to call Sindh Assembly session since February.

There is no better forum than the assembly to highlight public issues of Sindh. Issues like pre-budget, load shedding, water, wheat crisis must be discussed in the assembly.

Later talking to media persons at the Sindh Assembly Building premises, Zaman said that the problems of people of Sindh were increasing.

The rulers are not interested in solving the problems of the people. He said that we have filed a motion to summon the assembly session.
