CHAK JHUMRA:

Faisalabad police blocked the entrances and exits of the city with containers to prevent party workers and supporters from participating in the PTI's long march.

During this time, no vehicle was allowed to enter the motorway by the police. City Police Officer Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi and SSP Operations Abdullah Luck inspected the special blockade points set up across the district and issued orders to provide breakfast and food to the police personnel.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan called for a long march on Tuesday. To prevent the march, Faisalabad police took steps as per the instructions of the government. District police blocked the entrances and exits of the city and instituted strict checking of vehicles entering the motorway.

Meanwhile, police officers were present at Sahiyanwala Interchange, Mari Pattan and Tandlianwala and continued to perform their duties. The CPO and SSP continued to check the blockades set up by the police throughout the city. PTI workers protested by blocking the road in front of the Samandari Road local hotel and in District Council Chowk for not allowing them to go to Islamabad.
