Three suspects involved in the killing of a woman and his son were arrested within 24 hours and the weapon of murder was recovered from their possession.

According to Khanpur police, the suspects invited the family to ask for their daughter’s hand but when they showed up, the hosts opened fire at them, killing the man and his son on the spot. The woman’s other son also suffered serious injuries.

SP Investigation Haripur Mujeebur Rehman while holding a press conference along with DSP Investigation and other police officers said that the murder of a woman and her son took place in Jundial area of ​​Khanpur police station a couple of days ago over a relationship dispute.

Upon receiving information, SHO Khanpur police station along with investigation staff and other police personnel rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies of the deceased to RHC Hospital Khanpur.

On the report of the complainant, a case was registered against four suspects under sections 302, 324, 34 and 109 of the Pakistan Penal Code.

In light of the orders issued by the DPO Haripur Lieutenant Commander (Retd) Kashif Aftab Abbasi police parties including DSP Khanpur Jamilur Rehman, DSP Investigation Javed Khan, SHO Khanpur Police Station, investigation staff and other police personnel were formed.

The police parties while conducting raids at different places for the arrest of the suspects arrested three real brothers, who are the nominated suspects in the case, including Waheed, Zaheer and Abdul Qayyum residents of Kohala Payen and recovered weapons of murder, two pistols, from their possession.
