test | 2 years ago | Reply Pakistan s biggest three-day tech expo kicks off in Islamabad. And what we showed at the expo. Semiconductors Passenger Aircrafts advanced computer and medical technology and state of the art defence technology. After showing them at our Islamabad Expo as Made in Pakistan the world has gone crazy and are rushing to import them and we have orders worth 100s of billion of dollars. And our industrialists are busy to meet their demands and they are working day and night to fill up the export orders and Pakistani economists are not understanding where they will spent those 100s of billions of dollars. This was our people expecting but when they have gone there to see expo it was some IT startups with a few million dollars in investment rounds. So these tech expos will not do that much except to give or show some IT companies to public or attendees. So we have to rethink our strategy and to contribute in global economy we have to think of becoming a part of global supply chains which will only happen if big economies open their manufacturing plants in our country and produce goods at cheap rates which will earn Pakistan the forex it needs desperately by exporting those cheap goods at fair and decent rates compared to regional rivals.
