Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding festivities continued over the weekend, with the couple hosting a star-studded bash to celebrate their union. Celebrities were spotted sporting sequins and sparkles at the event, with some taking to their social media to share glimpses into the party.

The bash was hosted at the couple’s home, with Bollywood A-listers in attendance including Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor, Karan Johar and music producer Pritam, among others.

Karisma Kapoor shared a picture with the newlyweds, with Alia dressed in a glitzy silver sequinned number and Ranbir clad in a classic three-piece suit. She captioned the picture, “Big love for Mr and Mrs Ranbir Kapoor.” With a red pout and hair slicked back, Karisma opted for a black and white collared outfit.

The mother and sister of the groom, Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor, brought some extra glitter to the party, with Riddhima dressed in a sequinned black off-shoulder dress and Neetu opting for a dark green sequinned jumpsuit.

Filmmaker Karan Johar arrived at the party dressed to the nines, wearing an oversized black sequinned blazer over a basic black outfit. His outfit was by designer Manish Malhotra, with Karan capping off the look with a pair of his signature sunnies.

Malaika opted for a puffy-sleeved pink number with a plunging neckline. She accessorised the outfit with a statement chain link necklace and hair flowing freely down her shoulders. She was accompanied by boyfriend Arjun Kapoor, who wore a basic black shirt and dress pant combo.

The reigning king of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri were also pictured by Paparazzi as they arrived at the event.

The couple tied the knot on 13 April surrounded by their family and close friends. The couple, clad in matching ivory and gold Sabyasachi ensembles, looked ecstatic as the bride shared glimpses from their wedding.

Taking to Instagram, Alia penned, "Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home in our favourite spot - the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship - we got married."
