Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar reiterated his persistent support to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday.
In a statement, he asserted that the nation wanted Prime Minister Khan as the ruler. "National politics is incomplete without Imran Khan as the nation has full faith in him," he stressed and announced that he would back the PM whatever decision he takes. "We are all united under his leadership," he concluded.
Chief Minister Buzdar also recalled in another statement that the PTI-led provincial government had allocated a 32 per cent jobs quota for South Punjab and made the regional secretariat financially and administratively independent.

He said the government had allocated 35% development budget for South Punjab and ring-fenced it to avoid reappropriation of funds. He added that a separate development budget book had also been compiled to detail the allocation. The chief minister said the backward districts of the region were treated like other parts of the province for development because progress was the right of the people.
"It is sanguine that South Punjab has joined the journey of development because more development funds were provided to it than in the past to heal the sense of deprivation," he concluded.
