“My anxiety (especially social anxiety) has been at a 100 lately. I've come to a place where I don't feel bad about it. I love my space and my alone time. I am finding ways to help me start my day off with a calmer, more positive mindset. That being said, I wanted to just spread some good vibes,” she wrote before she went on to spread all the great vibes with her morning routine.

1. Breathe

Breathing plays a major role in curbing anxiety. To take control of her breathing and be more present at the moment, Jenner started her day with 10 deep inhales and exhales before she touched her phone. This means a strict ‘NO’ for screen time especially right after you wake up.

2. Journal your thoughts

After taking some deep breaths, the model shared that she proceeded to her yard and journaled for a bit. “I wrote down all the things I'm looking forward to today/this month,” she shared.

In an interview with TeenVogue, Jenner shared the importance of keeping a journal. “It’s important to have a space that’s just for you where you can let out your happiness. Your anger, frustrations, and stress, the things that are freaking you out, the things that are making you happy and even just ideas.” She confessed that her journal is an “old-fashioned” diary that she locks and puts away when she's not using it.

3. Mindfulness and gratitude

After letting her thoughts out and planning for the day, she proceeded to a stage of mindfulness. Still sitting by the yard, she said she expressed gratitude for all her blessings. In 2020, when the pandemic hit all of us with a spell of homebound loneliness and health scare, Kendall took to Twitter and thanked her followers. “In this past year, I've found it hard to keep my spirits up at times and have struggled a bit with my mental health.  What gets me through it is gratitude! Be thankful today for what you have! Sending love," she wrote.

4. Bathe in sunshine

Struggling with mental health or not, this one’s a keeper. To feel grounded in reality, one must spend some time out in the sun and really take the sunshine in, and that’s what Jenner did as well as she proceeded with her morning. Vitamin D is a must!

5. Sip some tea
While caffeine from coffee can trigger anxiety for some, there are herbal teas that can help start your day with a calming, less triggering dose of caffeine. Jenner’s list of self-care included a cup of tea and some more deep breathing as she went on with her day.

“I'm optimistic about my day ahead and you should be too!” wrote the supermodel as she sent her love to all her followers.
