Commissioner says prices of essential items will be made rationalised

Commissioner Sukkur, Ghulam Mustafa Phull has asked to consult all stakeholders for fixation of prices of essential items and fix the prices with realistic approach. He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting regarding fixation of prices of essential items at his office on Monday.

Assistant Commissioners, TMAs, District Food Controller and representatives of Karyana Merchants Association were present on the occasion. The Commissioner said that prices of essential items will be made rationalised and the district government will protect the rights of traders, shopkeepers and citizens. He also constituted a subcommittee in which equal representative have been given to traders and shopkeepers along with district administrations.
