Abbottabad deputy commissioner issues orders for keeping updated record of such children

Abbottabad Deputy Commissioner Tariq Salam Marwat directed to register teenage boys who are working in various industries.

He was addressing a meeting of the district liaison committee at his office on Wednesday. The deputy commissioner further directed lower staff to keep an updated record of the children working in industries.

He also directed for the provision of records of violations and ordered to take concrete steps in the future to eradicate the menace of begging, child labour and human trafficking.

He urged the citizens to ensure co-operation with the administration, police, and all other departments and help the administration in identifying crimes.

In the next meeting of the committee, more things would be decided about child labour and begging.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Relief Mohammad Abid, District Reconciliation Committee Chairman Lt. Gen (retd) Ayaz Saleem Rana, DSP Investigation Mohammad Ishtiaq, Abbottabad Assistant Commissioner Mohammad Hassan Ahsan, Labour Department District Social Welfare Officer, Sangi Development Organization, Al-Khidmat Foundation, Public Prosecutor and other officials attended the meeting.

Open court tomorrow

Meanwhile, the Federal Ombudsman Secretariat Regional Office Abbottabad will organise 'Khuli Kutchry' in various areas of Hazara division including Lora Circle, on March 24 to provide justice to the people at their doorsteps.

The people of Lora Circle were informed that if they have any complaint related to any federal agency, they can register their complaint in 'Khuli Kutchry' which would be held on Thursday (tomorrow) at Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) Lora office.

On the direction of Federal Ombudsman Ijaz Ahmad Qureshi, regional office Abbottabad is conducting Open courts at the tehsil level with the objective to provide speedy justice to the people living in the remote areas at their doorstep.

Federal ombudsman regional head office informed the people that if they have any complaint related to WAPDA, NADRA, Post Office, National Highways Authority, or any other federal department they can come and register it in the Khuli Kutchery.

The grievances of the masses would be resolved within 60 days, the regional office also directed masses to avail this facility and resolve their issues.
